Hello there, Thanks for reading my profile. Don't let two little numbers (age 69) scare you away. I will not let my age determine my destiny. I am a very young 69 in looks, mind, and spirit. Lucky in the gene pool, I guess. I am highly spirited, very
energetic and love to have fun.

I am a generous, caring, thoughtful, warm and affectionate lady seeking the same in a man. I love to laugh at the silliness of people, myself included and at life in general.

Friends refer to me as pretty and witty, a lady who is fun and easy to be around.

I believe that intimacy, honesty, monogamy and communication are the basis for any relationship to be successful.

I have an adventurous spirit and love trying new things. I enjoy last minute road trips to nowhere...traveling near and far and I am a terrific cook. Italian is my specialty but I am always trying new recipes. I also enjoy dining out while sipping a nice chardonnay.

I have tried other dating sites and have experienced some unpleasant events by insincere men and/or men who are afraid to commit, as time moved along in what seemed to be a successful relationship. I am not judging, mind you, but this is not nice and not fun. I am seeking a dining companion so serial daters need not reply.

I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and I am not judgmental. I taught English but retired as School Counselor, high school level.

I am an avid animal lover. Dogs, horses, dolphins are my favorite. My favorite bird is the hummingbird. Fascinated by its speed and its colors.

Family is very important to me and I lead a successful and happy life but it would be so much more meaningful, with the right guy by my side.

I sing in a local chorale group and although I am retired from teaching, I still work as a substitute teacher. Love being in and around the world of academia with adolescents who need an adult's guidance.

I will close with these words from a good friend who recently passed..."There are too many mediocre things in life..LOVE...should NOT be one of them". I believe these words to be true, no matter what our age.
