I was the political director for the largest membership organization in the country. (Well, maybe the AARP is bigger…but we were’badder’!🤣 As their senior lobbyist, I had the opportunity to develop professional relationships with some of America’s political leaders. That job laid the groundwork for opening my own consulting firm.

As for my personality, I am funny, laid back, serious, open, shy and goofy. Obviously, when representing clients, I was serious. On the other hand, when my nephew and nieces visit, I do the chicken dance - just to make them laugh. Come to think of it, most of these members of Congress could do with a good chicken dance being performed in their offices!

I am a musician by avocation. I play regularly in a concert band and served as an officer on it’s board of directors for over 20 years. I also perform with a number of pit orchestras (for musical theater) in the Washington DC area. And, when we existed, I was a member of the Washington Redskins Marching Band. I’m a member of the WRMB alumni and we still march in parades.

I love all kinds of activities. Obviously music, concerts, live theater. And also skiing, and other outdoor activities.

I also love to travel. My previous job allowed me to travel to some very interesting places internationally. This past summer I went on a European tour with a nation wide community band. I have been accepted to go again this summer.

I am quite happy with my life, but am finding that, with the right person, life is better when shared!

I am very active and often mistaken for being in my fifties. All photos were taken this past year…except for the Redskins band photo, which was taken the last year we performed - 2019.

I am looking for someone with intelligence, integrity, and wisdom…to name a few attributes. And definitely not looking for a beta!🤣
