I am a direct and assertive woman because I have to be. I prefer to support my alpha man and never be competitive in our roles. Being a divorced single mom, I have to be “the boss” but it is not my preference. My independence and work ethic scream masculine energy despite being very soft, loving and feminine. I am also very tall for a woman (5’11) and I tend to be seen as shallow when it comes to dating shorter men. I just can’t do it. I am not attracted to men who are shorter than me. Men are supposed to be the protectors and if he only comes up to my shoulder… well it doesn't make feel like I will be protected.
In 3 years, my goal is be a homeowner and in a relationship with someone who loves me just as much as I love him. Having my own place in the world, surround by trees and close to water. Going on camping trips, days at the beach, enjoying nature and all its glory. Also enjoying my home, my garden, my (screened-in) 3 season porch filled with memories of laughter and love. Finding Someone who is a good role model for my kids. I am not looking for someone to be their father (my ex-husband is involved in their life) but rather a man that can show my kids what love it. My kids have never seen a man truly love me, or respect me or anything really. Being a woman, I can’t teach my son how to be a man. Only a man can. As a mother it’s hard for my daughter to see how a man should treat you, when her dad didn’t respect marriage or the vows he took. Being a single mom isn’t ideal. My dating choices will have an impact on my children and I have not been able to find someone who meets these qualities.
