No, I am not George Clooney though the resemblance is uncanny and the confusion is understandable (you’re supposed to smile at this point). Either you will be intrigued by what I write or you will make like Pheidippides.

I am a romantic and spiritual person though not necessarily a religious extremist. I am down to earth, giving, strong, handsome, independent, responsible, loving and very domestic around the house. Am an explorer by nature, whether it’s the world around me, new restaurants, or people’s hearts.

I’d rather be at a dog park than a nightclub. I’m serious about the important things in life. I’m a good father and friend, family oriented, good values, well-educated, well-respected, a planner, faithful, romantic and honest. I believe and trust in God even when he's silent (forgetting that silence often speaks volumes) and in this great country. I believe in serving my fellow man.

My background is in Geology but my profession was as a high school science teacher and administrator.

Music is powerful and stirs deep feelings inside me. I sing every day and can lose myself for hours listening to George Strait, The Eagles, Jackson Brown, AC/DC, New Wave, Swing.

Nature uplifts my soul. I am "outdoorsy" and try to jog/walk or workout daily. I play golf and volleyball (not too good at either). Cirque de Soleil freaks me out and screws with my mind.

My Heroes: My mom, Bugs Bunny (never defeated), Wile E. Coyote (never gives up), Washington, Gandhi, teachers, single parents, my gardener, my pool man. I try to be my own best friend and hero to myself and my family.

I don’t think any of us would be on this site if we did have the same basic goals: An aspiration to have a life-long partner, family, love (not fear) God, preservation of our country. I’m not interested in who you were but in who you’ve become.

I am looking for a lady because in my heart I am a gentleman. I am not asking to be told “how much I am appreciated.” I want to be loved from the depth of someone’s heart. If you had time to work on your “façade” then you should have devoted as much time to develop the “inner you.” Am looking for a woman of substance because intellectual beauty grows as quickly as physical beauty fades.
