As a physician, I’m dedicated not only to my patients, but also to a long stream of friends and strangers who ask me all sorts of medical questions, from the trivial (“What’s this thing on my thumb?”) to the critical (“Why can’t I move the left side of my face?”). Whatever the issue may be, I find a lot of satisfaction in helping people with their health concerns.

I enjoy sketching comic strips about amusing situations I encounter during the course of my day. (I grew up on ‘Calvin and Hobbes’ and ‘The Far Side’). And whenever I can, I like to explore the great outdoors. I most recently took a 2-week road trip through the national parks of southern Utah. During college, I worked at Yellowstone National Park for a summer. I also enjoy visiting museums and attending plays and concerts.

I’d love to start a family with a woman who is kind, intelligent, easygoing, and has a good sense of humor.
