I am a widow of over nine years, a mom, and a proud grandmother. I’m a Christian with traditional conservative values and value faith, family, and the simple joys in life. I’m pro-USA, pro-Second Amendment, pro-free speech, not vaccinated, and not woke. I enjoy things like picnics, mountain drives, love to visit waterfalls and walks on the beach I also enjoy dining out, attending outdoor concerts, and sometimes just going with the flow to see where the day takes us. I am creative and enjoy going to festivals in the spring and fall. I’m also a pretty good cook and can bake like nobody’s business!
I’m looking for a man who is confident but not cocky, compassionate, truthful, loves his family, and is a true gentleman. A sense of humor is a definite plus! I appreciate someone who knows what he wants, says what he means, and follows through. I will do the same. Big turn offs: Smoking, excessive drinking, disrespect, not valuing family and
friends, rudeness, and a foul mouth. I don’t mind occasional cursing, but when every other word is the F-bomb, that’s an extreme turn off. Also, knowing how to read a room and have a filter about what you are saying around children is important.
I value honesty in a relationship, so being truthful is crucial for me. If I find out you’re not being honest, it could make it hard for me to trust you.
I am in no way a feminist—I believe a man has certain strengths, and a woman has her own. Together, they complement and complete each other.
I’m not a fan of dating apps but with the way life is, it is hard to meet men. I don’t do the bar scene. I prefer to chat on the app for a week or two before exchanging phone numbers, then talking on the phone and see where it goes—maybe meet for drinks if we connect.
Having spent the majority of my life as a caretaker—whether babysitting my siblings, caring for my husband and children, or looking after my parents until they passed—I find myself on my own for the first time. I’m eager to connect with someone special.
I’ve been focusing on my personal growth, both physically and emotionally, and I believe in the importance of self-care. It’s crucial for me to feel healthy and balanced, not just for my own well-being but also to be the best version of myself for those in my life.
