Retired early from a career in law enforcement in the Midwest and started a second career teaching part time at the college level. In 2014, I FINALLY escaped the winter snow and cold and relocated permanently to LV. I love it here...something very unique about living in a community where people from all over the world come to visit and vacation. Plus, we Locals know there is so much more about LV than "The Strip."
I have led a consistently fit and healthy lifestyle and appreciate the same in a partner, you will notice I am a little sarcastic (the good kind-okay, occasionally a smart ass), spontaneous, willing to try almost anything (legal), fan of doo-wop, classic rock, funk, Motown, and, yes, disco (let's dance;), enjoy home barbeques and dining out, movies that make me think, fictional reading (M. Connelly Sanford, Berenson, Thor, Flynn), politically conservative, humor (how would we stay sane or survive?), treat everyone fairly (my students tell me that), do not take myself too seriously (I tell myself that), tactile (have been guilty of strategic PDA), sports (NFL, Big 10, NBA, MMA, especially), effective communication skills (low threshold for BS), and giving back; at this point in my life, I believe, it is more about sharing our life experiences for the betterment of others and contributing to our community than exclusively focusing on oneself (wow, that sounded kind of deep;).
If any of that resonates with you, let's meet and get to know each other face-to face instead of communicating via protracted emails. We both know visual cues are so much more revealing than embellished online prose and dated photos. And, of course, there is that elusive "chemistry thing."
