I am a widow. My husband was a lovely man, a school teacher. We were married for 24 years, and for the last 12, he suffered from serious health issues and I was his caretaker. He died at home two years ago.

We never had children, and I accept that. I would welcome a partner with children and extended family because I don't have anyone here. I grew up in Idaho, and had a wonderful childhood growing up in the country. My widowned mother is still alive, and I have an older sister who has a wonderful husband, children and grandchildren. When holidays come, it's kind of blue with no family.

I am a serious, classically trained musician. I teach music at the college level, mostly musical theater. I also direct a women's chorus, and a church choir, which is a great joy in my life. I love all kinds of music, mostly creating it myself.

I have a charming home and garden. I may not be Martha Stewart, but it's tidy and artistic. I like to cook, make a mean creme brule and prime rib, and I love to try new things. I enjoy entertaining, and do host tea parties in my garden, complete with the scones with clotted cream served on china.

I have a dog and a cat. I recently took up riding again, so it would be great if you had a horse too, I would happily muck out the barn for you.

I may not be a prize in looks, but I have class and style. I am chubby, but working on it, and have lost 50 pounds this year. I have the patina of a 57 year old woman, but I'm blessed with good health and energy. I have a healthy appetite for all things, and I need a man who can keep up with me!



I really have everything I want and need, just someone to share my life with! The man I fall in love with needn't be an Adonis, he may be bald, and chubby, and have a wonky eye. I want to share my life and experiences, a glass of wine, a good meal, discuss the day. My work in higher education is sometimes stressful dealing with woke BS and I need someone to vent and laugh at it, to go over the tough choices,to be my cheerleader as I will be to the man I love. I want to listen to your jokes and favorite songs and be your muse.
