I’m an active, attractive widow living in Westminster Md. I’m a country girl at heart. Politically, I’m a pretty strong Conservative. Love music, country and rock, animals (especially dogs), the outdoors, being by the water, the mountains, and sitting at home watching a good movie suits me just fine too. I love baseball and football, Orioles and Ravens. I have 3 children, two daughters and a son, and 3 grandchildren. I try to spend as much time with family as I can. I’m pretty family oriented. I’ve been retired for five years but I’m looking to get into a new line of work. If we talk, I’ll tell you more about that! I love history, particularly the Civil War and 18th century history, American and British/Scottish history. The 18th century has a mystery to it and anything mysterious is alluring to me. Looking for the unknown interests me and I’ve done metal detecting and ghost hunting on the Gettysburg battlefields. Anything that sends chills through me and gives me goosebumps is right up my alley. Speaking of getting chills and goosebumps, what am I looking for in a man? One that gives me chills and goosebumps would be nice 😊 It’s hard to describe what I’m looking for in a man as a whole lot of adjectives come to mind but I guess in general, a down to earth, honest, caring, romantic, and genuine kind of guy who loves family and country. A good conversationalist, listener, open to new things and people, has to like music and dogs, and doesn’t mind doing spur of the moment things. Physically, I prefer taller men even though I’m only 5’2”. I don’t really care for men who are overweight although a few extra pounds is expected at our age! I’d prefer a man to still have some hair as I can’t seem to break the habit of running my fingers through a guy’s hair! I don’t mind facial hair, in fact, probably prefer it. We all have our preferences when it comes to physical attractiveness but I have found out that a connection, that spark can happen with anyone. If it’s there, it’s there. That chemistry can occur with anyone and you usually can tell pretty quickly. If you don’t feel it when you first meet, that first night, it probably isn’t there. That’s been my experience. Not sure I believe in “they’ll grow on you with time”. 🤷‍♀️I could go on and on but don’t want to drag this out too much! Good luck to everyone here!
