I'm a maker. Love to re-purpose. My hobbies are woodworking, working on my Harley, playing guitar etc.. I'm a solo Dad to my 17 yo daughter whose goals are going into the Coast Guard and to be a Firefighter afterwards. Her mother left 9 years ago and lives in another state. I divorced her. So no crazy jealous ex-wife around. I go to a Christian church every Sunday and serve in my church regularly. I have a handsome dog and cat. Love walks. I'm a cuddler for real. Nothing like watching a good movie with the shades down on a Sunday afternoon and cuddling close, and if it's a good horror movie, then being held tight is wicked. I'm not into card games or chess. I am into hard rock, and metal, some classical, some country, but I'm just not into opera and rap music. COOKING IS A HUGE PASSION OF MINE. I can cook a lot of different ethnic dishes. Making sushi is one of my favorites. My daughter loves raw sushi, I do not.
I love to laugh and make people laugh. Love to joke and be serious. Would love to be with someone who can make me laugh too. I'm really attracted to that. I take care of myself and I want to be with someone who also takes care of herself. Smoking is a huge turn-off. Don't want to be with someone who drinks excessively or is into doing drugs. So I keep scrolling past the ones with profile pics with beers in their hands. I'm not an ex-alcoholic either.
I'm not someone who ski's. I don't run marathons. I don't waste money on $75 dollar a plate restaurants because I can cook those kind of meals. I love concerts even though the last one was Van Halen with my daughter in 2015. I used to go to Boston Symphony every month but my aunt who has the season tickets kicked us out of the family because I don't believe in HER science or HER politics. Real nice...
Biggest turn off? A liar. Someone who lies on a regular basis. I've already been to high-school. Don't need a repeat. Honesty to me is the best policy.

Not wanting to do the long distant relationship thing again. We're driving on Biden gas. Or gaffes hehe.

Also. My daughter comes FIRST. Everything else is 2nd. I do not want a woman who will compete with my daughter for affection. Had that already. She graduates next year and I WILL have time for me to have a life partner that I could enjoy being with that could enjoy being with me for me. She's been bugging me for years to find a woman so I can be happier. My name is John BTW. Dean is my middle name.
