I Would Describe Myself As

Born at a VERY early age...weren't we all...in Kansas? Love movies (anything but sci-fi and stupid/funny), ethnic dining), travel (started another career in the travel business), playing Scrabble, a good cup of coffee, music, home tours in Denver, reading books (fiction mostly), wine and cooking.

Began my illustrious work career as a carhop (no we did not wear roller skates), worked in a grocery store, managed a bar in Bristol, TN, and then got my first Civil Service job. Lived in Germany (15 minutes away from France)...it was absolutely amazing. Retired after 35 years with the Feds...almost eight years ago. My favorite vacation was a two-week trip to New Zealand...it's an amazing place.

I am very straightforward, so if you have any difficulty at all telling the truth, you will NOT like me. I'd much rather go out occasionally for a really nice lunch/dinner than eat fast food. I love going to the movie; it's my escape from reality...I'm even open to sharing my popcorn with the right person. I love to cook, but I miss having someone to cook for/with.

Perhaps I need to clarify what I'm looking for...I want ONE guy (not several to see occasionally/casually) who wants to be with me as much as I do with him. I want to introduce him to my friends and meet his. I am prepared to give as much attention and affection as I get...or even more, but I am not going to give everything and get nothing in return. I definitely want an exclusive relationship with that ONE guy.
